Oplægget giver et overblik over de typiske symptomer på GI-toksicitet forårsaget af immuncheckpoint-hæmmere, samt aktuelle metoder til vurdering og behandling. Nye forskningsbaserede behandlingsmuligheder vil også blive præsenteret. Seminaret afsluttes med en åben erfaringsudveksling og drøftelse af potentielle forskningssamarbejder.
Professor Yinghong (Mimi) Wang er en førende forsker inden for GI-immunotoksicitet, og hendes arbejde danner grundlag for mange af de behandlingsprincipper, vi anvender i dag. Hun er professor ved The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, medlem af Immunotherapy Toxicity Working Group, og leder af Oncology-GI Toxicity Program samme sted.

This lecture will provide an overview of the common presentations of gastrointestinal toxicities induced by immune checkpoint inhibitors, along with current evaluation and management strategies. Emerging investigational options will also be highlighted. The session will conclude with an open exchange of experiences and discussion of potential research collaborations.
Yinghong (Mimi) Wang is a leading researcher in GI immunotoxicity, and her work underpins many of the treatment principles we use today. She is a professor at the The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Immunotherapy Toxicity Working Group, and Head of the Oncology-GI Toxicity Program at the same Institution
