The leadership of CTCPR

Here you can read about the leadership of the Center for Translational Cardiology and Pragmatic Randomized Trials (CTCPR) and Cardiovascular Non-Invasive Imaging Research Laboratory (CIRL).

The research centers were created and are led by Tor Biering-Sørensen. Tor is an internationally recognized researcher and expert in ultrasound scans. The research centers employ PhD students, post docs, medical students and administrative staff. Since his time as a young medical student, Tor's passion and focus has been cardiac physiology. The link between cardiovascular imaging, heart rhythm disturbances and the electro-mechanical coupling in the heart has since then become his primary area of research.
